94 polaris XLT or a 97 polaris 440

Hi everyone,

I am looking for a new to me sled and have come accross two that I am flipping a quarter over.

#1 A 1994 Polaris XLT with 6000 miles. It was in an accident and the whole track and parts had to be replaced

#2 a 1997 Poloaris 440 super sport. Have not seen this one yet and hope to by tuesday or wednesday.

Flipping quarter reasons...I currently have a 79 lynx that is almost done and want to upgrade to something a little larger and with a little more power. I like test drive of the XLT today but it being a triple and the area I live in (corn fields and ditches) I wonder if this is too much sled and too heavy.

Not much to work on but any advice would be great.

thanks

I'd go with the 97 as it has a much better suspension.

"And", if the XLT's motor hasn't been rebuilt yet, it's due...... I suppose you don't know the miles on the SS? As far as the XLT being too much sled, it shouldn't be.......
