2012 f8
So I finally get to try out my new Cat and wow that thing is mean. However while out ridding it i came to a stop and it stalled out, not what I expected being a new sled. So I tried to pull it over and as I did that I noticed that it was trying to walk It's self. So we pulled it into the garage and got the track off the ground and got it running, track was spinning out of control and as I hit the brake it stalled out agin, as this went on a few times I noticed the cluch was still engaged and sticking. So I called a dealer and he said that Cats where having problems with the bushings in the cluch and it needs to be brought in and he also said that a guy just brought one in for the same problem. Unfortunately where I'm at in the UP there isn't a local Arctic Cat dealer around so lucky me I gotta wait till I get home to take it in.

There are quite a few "service updates" on the 2012 Cats if anyone is out looking to buy, I don't know about the 2013's I just wish there was something in the "recall thread" when I was doing research before buying so I knew some of the problems. Luckly nothing to major. From what I have seen they clam it to have the most reliable motor out of any.

Ya still waiting to see how the etec 800 holds up before I plunge. Cat seems to always be recalling the new sleds. My buddies cf800 spent its time getting updates when it was still new. But it does run like a champ now.

It's just little things that don't meet Cats specs and call it "service updates". Other than that It's seems to be a good sled.
