Advice one more time please :) Hopefully the last

So, I have a thread on here that I've been asking opinions and advice on sleds. I haven't been able to save as much as I'd hoped ($4000), so my expectations have also been lowered ($2500).

I've gotten a little advice from my the Polaris dealer I bought my ATV from this past spring. They sell Polaris and Arctic Cat sleds as well. The young man there advised me on what to look for on a '99 Arctic Cat I was interested in. He said to look closely at the the gas tank opening for hairline cracks. He also said to look at the bolts on the suspension for black dust around them, a sign of looseness.

Anyway, I haven't actually gone out and looked at any yet. I'm interested in a few different machines, and I'm looking for one more round of advice from the Snowmobile Forum community. Please.

I plan to see if I can test drive a couple Yamahas and a couple two stroke machines and see if I, as a novice can tell the difference in throttle response or acceleration.

The advice I'm looking for at this time is anything I need to look out for or be aware of on these few machines. Also, is 700 too much for a novice? I'm a little agressive, but cautious until I learn how a machine handles. How I started with my ATV this year, it's a Sportsman 550.

A 2002 Arctic Cat ZL 600 EFI with reverse and e-start 3900 miles one owner

A 2002 Arctic Cat ZL 600 SS EFI 1800 miles

A 2001 Yamaha SXR 700 4527 miles one owner

A 2002 Yamaha Viper 700 4300 miles

I plan to take whichever sled I buy to my dealer for a once-over and advice on care and maintenance.

I'd go with the sled that has reverse myself, even if it does have a little higher miles.

I agree and honestly that 700 is still almost at the same power as that 02 600efi!

With or without reverse, the ZL is a better riding, better handling sled.
