1993 polaris indy lite 340 wont start.

1993 polaris indy lite 340 wont start.
Carbs taken apart and cleaned over and over and over and adjusted
Good compression
Good fuel
Good spark
Replaced end seal
pour a lil gas down spark plugs it will run all day long,. shit it off and it wont start again til you put gas down spark plugs.

Anyone have any ideas?
I have all the shops stumped. I really dont wanna have to take it in to a polaris dealer and get the high fees they charge...

I bought the sled from a older couple who has not riden it in 3 years, low miles.

Fuel pump isnt pushing enough gas to start? Check that out. When you cleaned carbs did you use a wire or something to clean out the pilot jet?

Pull it about 10 times and pull the plugs. Are they wet? What do you see?

Sync your carbs up. I hear this can cause issues.

Ok. Its weird that it keeps running when you drop fuel in and it keeps running but wont start alone.

Makes a very frustrating event

Yes that would be frustrating. Its like its not getting enough umph to start. Could be an electrical issue? Not pumping fuel fast enough? Anyway id just replace the plugs because they are cheap. One more thing to rule out. After its warm how many times have you tried pulling it? Maybe when it shuts off its sucking fuel backwards for me reason and it needs to be sucked back in?

Nothing really electrical on it besides coil n its getting spark.
Pull start only. Doesnt have electric start.
As far as plugs... Well lets just say I could buy stock in NGK by now.. LOL

Id say about 10 pulls, Get wore out after that... LOL

How about adding a primer to the carb or something like that?

You could add a primer. Alot of people dont like straight gas burning sithout oil until enough gas has been burned to pull in oil. I dont understand this at all. Try putting your mouth around the gas tank and seal it and blow in air. It should push gas through the lines all the way to the carbs just like a primer. See if it magically works!

Thats not how the primer works on a sled. Do you have air in the fuel lines when you shut it down? U could add a primer but carbs need the nipples for the lines to connect to

The primer would have to be on the line somewhere.... On my sled if i blow air in it goes all the way onto the carbs and practically primes it. Just seeing if it work. Hey maybe it will. Not much else to check

On a sled it t's of the fuel line and literally squirts fuel into the intake. Blowing in your tank is going to floods your bowls. If they take any at all. Point if the needle/seet

I have the same issue with my Bravo! I dribble a little gas down the plug hole for the first time of the day, but after that it will start again all day!

I have a primer for it and I believe that will fix it! Most all older Skidoo's have primers!

I think you still have a crank seal issue... Doesn't appear you have a strong enough signal to pull fuel through carbs.
Adding a primer may help the starting issues but lead to a melt down .
Try having someone pull it over while blocking the carb opening with the palm of your hand and see if it gets wet with fuel.

I replaced one of the seals already.
When one puts hand over the carbs while another pulls engine over one plug is wetter then the other.

Is this something I should even fix? Or just part it out on ebay?

Just wanted something for my daughter to ride. I have $500 into it so far
