So who's riding?

No snow down here in SE Wisconsin...no snow at all now. I just read online that 9 counties in Northern WI have trails that are open or at least partially open. I also just read a trail report from Bayfield, Wi that says all their trails are open and they have 4-12" of base, granted its not much, but its something. Anyone riding in Minnesota? Normally I can rely on the UP to ride but even that's not happening at this point.

After all the rain we're getting, including N Mn, trails may close back up. Still melting as we speak. Wouldn't be surprised if it's gone by tomorrow a.m. around here.

Got out first real storm here in SW CO, 14-24 inches depending on elevation and location, still snowing, not enough to ride hard, just trails.... Broke out both sleds today, both started right up and rode around the neighborhood a few times, felt great, think I might go for a late night ride too....

We have yet to get any snow worth riding on this year.

Nothing happening in New York so far. There might be some snow in the higher elevations in the next week or so, but nothing in the forecast around me. I'll trailer to it if and when I can.

This is supposedly the snow coverage right now. I can tell you this much, I'm in northwestern Minnesota, and there is just a dusting on the grass, not the 2-4 that it shows on the map.

We got around 8'', but the rain today wasn't any good for it. I've put on about 3 miles so far, just going around my house since roads weren't much good to trailer anywhere to ride. Hopefully I can get on the trails this year and put on more miles.

We had a small amount here in SE WI but what was left of it was destroyed yesterday but all of the rain! Seems like this winter is officially worse than last winter. I was just reading some articles about how Chicago, Toledo, Baltimore and Milwaukee are breaking records for the lack of snow

All week long they were calling for snow today, now it's going to be rain. I can't stand it.

Any reports from Northern WI? I checked up there yesterday and they had 9 trail systems open to ride but then I heard reports of rain and above freezing temps. I'd consider the 6 hour drive...

As of right now, trails are still open in Polk county. We had rain pretty much all day yesterday and only a dusting of snow overnight. Here's a good site I found to monitor trail conditions through the winter.

I've been hearing people on Cats screaming around here, I have no idea why they are riding either. They aren't riding gingerly across the 1 inch of snow either, you could hear them really ripping into the throttle.

I live just 20 miles south of hwy 2 in Bayfield county. If we have 2", that would be stretching it. According to Kemo's map, I doubt there is much more further up by the lake.

I use the same link as mtwi. What it's showing now for conditions hasn't been updated in a couple of days. We've had rain since the last update. I would guess once the map is updated a lot of the counties will be downgraded.....

I checked Bayfield's site yesterday and there was a report from 12/14 saying trails were open with 4-12" base, I went back this morning and it looks like they deleted that entry all together, now the last entry is 12/12 saying they are un-rideable

Up here in Burnett county the trails are open but their isn't much snow on them more grass than snow. The lakes and swamp aren't really frozen very well either so they maybe open but I don't think we will be able to ride on them for at least a couple weeks yet if the weather keeps up like this.
