I drove by a few trails today and they do not look good. Lots of bare spots.
I will not be going out until we get more snow and wouldn't recommend anyone else does either. All you will accomplish is tearing up land and machines.

Haven't got a thing here in Iowa, not that it's the place to be this early. I'm heading to Superior for Christmas and can't decide if the sleds should go yet. I'm planning to park them at my parents place in northern Ia and run back up somewhere the week after Christmas with a friend from the Cities. Hope they get some good snow again so we don't have to run as far. I'm going to have to keep my eyes open to this site and the weather.

Sleds were ripping by the house this morning when I was out snowblowing the driveway. I took mine out a few weeks ago on the roads and grass fields but will wait for a little more ground cover before I head out on the trails.

I just heard a few minutes ago about 12" on Thursday..... It's early in the week tho. The track could change. Hopefully it does and moves more north!

Lotsa purple where I live, but 24" isn't really enough. Too much stuff to hit hidden under the snow at this point. Fence posts are still showing... as soon as they're a couple feet under, then it's time to ride!!!

Draw a line from Des Moines to Greenbay and that's the center of the Winter Storm Watch. Included are areas on both sides of that line.......

Got out for the first ride on Sunday, The road had about 2 feet of fresh fluff on it, so I was able to carve it up pretty good without being in danger of hitting anything. Any time I went off the road I was hitting stuff under the snow, so I stayed on the road and had a blast. Couldn’t believe that nobody had ridden it yet! Sled started bogging around 11,000' where the snow started getting really deep and the road steepened so I turned around there (was riding solo so didn't feel too adventurous). This was our first real snow this year, another storm coming in today and Wednesday, things are looking up!!

No riding yet but as this snow storm moves in threw the end of the week bringing as much as 8-12 + inches of fresh powder in the UP of Michigan I'll be riding. Been dying to ride my new sled that I've had since the beginning of November, don't get me wrong it looks good sitting inside my trailer.
