Well IQ is just the chassis that that sled is on. So you can generally call it an IQ 800.

Yea I ended up having to look it up as an 09 iq 800 and guy said it was a late 08, I'm guessing that could be why?

Dunno... What's odd is NADA doesn't show an 09 either, but KBB does.

Yea your right, I'm not sure where I ever got that we checked the value on there, I see there is an Indy 800 on there, I didn't know they made Indy's in 09 is there something I'm mixed up on?

That is odd... NADA shows everything as "Indy" but KBB doesn't. I'd call a dealer and ask if the sled is a legit '08, an 800, and hasn't been monkeyed with. Ask them to give you an idea of value.

KBB shows the 09 800 IQ as being worth about $5600 or so. The 08 would obviously be lower, and KBB is too high anyway. My gut says that machine's value maxes out around $5k.

remember the value of a sled has a lot to do with it's location.

It's a private seller, and what do you mean by riders?

I don't think think someone would buy an 800 to putt around with in the first place.

Ah I see, I kinda like that it comes with the riser and handgaurds, it's something I would pry add anyway so at least it comes with them!

Exactly why I'm looking at the sled! am I in over my head though power wise? I mean I'm coming from a 440 but we did have a 600 I rode a little bit, think got moving quick but it felt like a tank driving it although I had it maxed out a couple times on the lake, was fun! Hoping this new track on the 800 will get the power to the snow, it's got studs to I know they're knew but I can't believe those things don't shoot straight through the heat exchanger when going 100+mph is that something I should be worried about as they wear out a little?
