Push Button Reverse on 4-stroke.

So, I was sitting there contemplating, and I can't figure out how a 4-stroke can run in reverse. But it must be possible, since Arctic Cat has push button reverse on the M1100. :/ Does anyone have an explanation?

The button probably runs an electronic servo motor that engages the reverse gears. Running a 4-stroke backwards isn't possible.

On a 4 stroke like BC said, it is a servo that puts it into reverse. Otherwise it would have a manual handle.

On a 2 stroke, just push a button, motor stops, starts in reverse and go

The Cams would have to be swaped out, a Marine motor used to run backwards!
