The one thing I missed about Polaris tripples was they had a sound all their own and I found the stock Bomb's all sounded pretty much the same. I'm not a fan of aftermarket cans because they tend to be way to loud for my tastes.
My solution was to cut up a spare Indy 650 exhaust and make my own .. It's pretty much the same in noise level but sounds 100 times better in my opinion... -12lbs was a bonus ..
Still not legal for the trails here because it is modified , but for ripping it up in the fields or out on the river I really like the sound of it. The Indy exhaust needed to be cut down by 1 1/2 " to fit in place of the stocker. A little header wrap should keep the heat under control near the plastic parts.
For those who will ask why I did not Mig the pipe it was because of oil contamination in the steel and bronze is way easier .
