first happy thanksgiving to everyone!


second my brother and i got into a arguement bout washing sled he said i shouldnt wash it like a car soap and water a brush and hose and i said it would be fine i wanted to ask everyone here first what do you think i want to wash it and wax it one time because its dirty and thats how i am let me know thanks

Car wash soaps and waxes work fine on all painted and plastic parts, avoid harsh chemicals here. If you have an unpainted aluminum tunnel there are products available at your dealer or local hardware store that will make it shine like new, but again, be careful not to get that stuff on paint or plastic.

I wash my sled the same way I wash my car. Bucket of soap water, sponge and a garden hose. I use a pressure washer to sometimes. It doesn't hurt to open the hood afterwards and blow compressed air to dry things off. Not necessary though.

Wash it up, and to keep it clean I also use furniture polish that you would use for dusting.

I recall something in my Ski-Doo Owner's Manual about a diluted de-greaser and a flannel cloth... But I know people that have simply used car soap and a brush.
