Hey guys I'm kind of new here. Anybody use chatterbox or anything like that I'm looking for something under 300 buck for the pair. Any sort of helmet to helmet communication. Thanks

I have the Collet com set up! Not the best but got them at a swap for about $100 for 3!
But I heard that there is a system out there that can work threw your cell? And there is an advertiser here about a set up!

Do you know of any specific ones I'm looking at "cardo scala rider g4 power set snowmobile edition" but it's like 370 for the pair which is pretty expensive.

I use the Chatterbox X1 Slim. Works great but it costs over $300 for one unit. I don't have any experience with radios that are under $300 for a pair. Sorry.

Ok I guess I'll be rigging up something with my phone or getting the scala riders one for like $400

The solitude is half the reason I'm riding, why would I screw that up?

I knew there was a com set that hooked your cell! I wonder is there a way to get the turn by turn on the Nuvi?

They work with Bluetooth devices so if your Nuvi has Bluetooth, it should work. There is a wired connection that uses the mini jack output.

From the website:

G4 Snowmobile Intercom -
More Fun Talking Sled to Sled

The rugged scala rider G4 is the perfect companion in any winter environment.* It lets you communicate with your friends while you enjoy riding the snowy trails.

Connect with up to two other snowmobiles or among two riders and their two passengers in crystal-clear conference mode or use any of the other remarkable communication and entertainment options the scala rider G4 has to offer: Mobile phone connectivity, A2DP stereo music from your MP3 Player, built-in FM radio and more.

The scala rider G4 is hands down the world's most feature-rich communication and entertainment system for snowmobile riders and the PowerSet box brings you two factory-paired G4 units ready to go.

Multiple Device Connectivity (“MDC”)
Thanks to MDC technology, the scala rider G4 offers parallel connectivity as follows:
Snowmobile Intercom conference mode with two other scala rider G4 users and with one of the following Bluetooth devices:
Mobile Phone (either directly or via a GPS device)
GPS device
A2DP enabled MP3 Player or Adapter

plus: built-in FM radio and cable connectivity to external MP3 player

Priority Management: No need to manually disconnect from intercom or music to receive incoming phone calls or GPS instructions!

Enjoy the ride!

*Tested in Alaska
