Blizzard Is Here
It's snowing like crazy, but they're only expecting 3 to 4" here, over a foot north of here. It's rained all day yesterday and early this morning with a temp of 27-30. It is too slick to drive anywhere right now. Last night I slid between 2 cars with the tires spinning trying to maintain control. My daughter-in-law spun a cookie coming home last night.

Bismarck area was only predicted to get a dusting, the forecast has been up'ed to 8-12 now! It has picked up again since I grabbed this off my webcam, I can barely see the house across the street.
Extremely slippery out though. Hadn't put my snow tires on the car yet this AM and had to run some errands. zero traction! All 4 snow shoes are now on, world of difference, almost feels like the ice is gone.

I hope you put some sled tracks in the yard because that is enough to do so!

I put some tracks in for sure. I'm a tired puppy right now. First shovel snow for 2 hours, get 2 different sleds out for a bit of sledding. Cut and package a deer. Now it's Miller time.

We've had 6" or so on the ground for the past week... didn't even bother to take the sleds out in that. I'm waiting for it to pile up in the mountains... 2 feet up there so far. When it gets to 4 or 5, that's when I'll take the sleds out.

My ZR is my low snow sled. I'll take it out on snirt,, but I definitely prefer a good base before I take the others out.
