You need the VIN number, OR the old reg with the VIN on it.

Call Polaris directly! They should be able to give you the Vin # that motor was put into!

Unless you want to go sell it and the buyer ask for it,

The only thing I had was vin number on my 700 to get it registered, no paperwork or anything.. so I went to S.O.S I told her I bought the sled off a friend of mine and it had no registration to it, and she asked me if it was stolen. I told her I didn't know the history of it, she then told me she would have to do a background check on it and it would take an hour or so. So I left and then came back in an hour and it had a clean bill of health and found no one had reported in stolen and. I was on my way to getting it registered.

Yup.. just check out wdnr's website. All you need is a vin and a credit card number. Usually stickers come in a week or less. You also get a card to print out so if it snows you can still ride.
