First whick sled? As for rust and leaks, high temp silicone and new springs help alot. And rust is gona happen unless you paint it every off season!
And if you just want to change the sound I have a fix for that as well as performance too!

dg and aaen both made pipes for your sled and you can find them forsale used if you look. the problem is your sled is efi. you would have to swap to carb or find someone that can fix your ecu to work with the pipe. and it is getting hard to find things like that for a sled that is older.

i would expect the efi would ajust to more air flow like in a car the brain should tell it it needs more fuel and air

If you change the pipes, you will need to have the ECU reflashed or use a controller such as Boondocker.

yeap.... any pipe change will require you to have the ecu setup to work with it. and you have a one piece pipe so you can't change the can either so you are kinda stuck. on the otherside, even with adding the pipe it doesn't make a huge amount of power over stock. plus if you do try and find a pipe, go with an aaen not dg, dg didn't make much more power on the old iron than stock, just more noise.

Well that sled is exactly why Pollaris gave up on EFI! You can still work on your exhaust. I make up an adjustable fuel presure regulator for the Cat! Might be able to adapt to your sled? And then a simple well placed hole drilled into your can!
