Wire Harness on my flatbed trailer

I have a flatbed trailer... It's 4 prong, but it has 5 wires. I need to replace the connector, but all the stores I go to only have 4 prong with 4 wires... how do I connect this properly? Thanks

5 wires on the trailer side? does the trailer have electric brakes? sounds like at one time someone did some presidential engineering on the trailer side wires.

typical 5 pin would have white, yellow, green, brown and blue. 4 pin flat would have white, green, yellow, and brown.

flat or round plug on the trailer and whats on the tow vehicle? shouldnt take much to figure out what was done and what to wire based on needs.

You probably have 2 brown wires. One for each side for the running lights! A std 4 flat will work, just soldier both browns to the one one the pig tail!

what is the tow vehicle??
i gotta agree with kccats.
if 2 brown wires- hook them together,
if blue- then trailer brakes.
if red- thats constant 12v power, to run camper off car battery.
might even be reverse lights if trailer is equipped wit them.
does the trailer have trailer brakes??
id put 12v to it and see what lights up.
