04 or 05 f7?
Thinking about getting a o4 or 05 f7. What you guys think. What could i expect to pay. Definately want to get somethin before fall. Would you recommend anythin else. Live in indiana so riding feilds and trails

2004! Much faster than the '05. In 2005, diamond drive handicapped the fastest sleds in the industry. Definately go for an '04 with the traditional secondary and chaincase. The '03/'04 F7s are wicked sleds!

if you go for efi the 06 is rumored to be the best mapping.

true from what i heard to, find an 06, with
reverse. then it will have a chaincase i believe.
ive been reading all my snowmobile mags from
95 till present.

03 and some of the 04 had the chain case! EFI and you can have the CDI remapped to 06 spec!

The diamond drives did knock off a little on the top end, But still far from being "slow". I don't think the diamond drives are as bad as some people make them out to be. I've got nearly 8000 miles on my '06 with no problems( a good cleaning and inspection before every season goes a long way).
