spark problems

hey , i have a 95 skidoo 583 it was idling in the garage before winter then it stalled out. it was very low on gas so i assumed it ran out, when the snow came n all my buddys were on there sleds out front i filled it up and it wouldnt start i pulled the plugs out and it had no spark the odd pull it had a little bit i was told to replace the stator so i did, it had amazing spark after i did that but it wont start it seems to have spark one minute an no spark the next does any one know whats going on?

I'd check/clean your switches, (throttle, tether, key) then start replacing,,plugs then plug boot, then the coil.

Make sure that the MPEM is connected tightly and that the tether is clean and making contact.

How did you shut it off? I'd test that switch.

Did you test everything with a meter? The tether is the biggest issue with that sled. Clean the contacts with an eraser.
