Need some parts, asking for help.

My 99 XC6 has the flatslide Keihin's, and I absolutely hate them. I tried a million and a half different settings for things right after I got it and I could NOT get it tuned in properly. I want to upgrade to the Mikuni rack carbs that the newer XC's have after they ditched the Keihin's. There are no local swap meets around me that I know of. I would appreciate if one of you guys that go to swap meets could keep an eye out for a set for me, and I reimburse you plus a little extra, and also shipping. I've checked craigslist and can't find anything and don't really want to deal with ebay. If someone could help me out in this way, please PM me and I can give you my phone number and more specific details on my price range and whatnot. Thanks.

Most snowmobile problems are caused by a loose nut connecting the handlebars to the seat.

I hear you on that! I have a set of 40mm out of a Polaris 700 I believe they are 40's!
I'll be hitting atleast 6 different Swap Meets this Sept! Starting with Hay Days! The second weekend of Sept. If you have never been, you really need to go, and bring plenty of cash! Figure out how much you want to spend, then double it, and be sure to have lots more room for stuff to bring home!

Didn't find any on that site. I've checked around and these things are hard to find.

Good idea. My brother had that 03 Pro X this past winter with a 700 BB non VES motor and it ran like crap with them lousy Keihin carbs. Took it to our parts guy because he was in college and it got rack carbs, and vforce reeds for 200 bucks installed and everything. It ran amazing after that!!! I would bet you could find a pair for $100 bucks. Question, why not ebay? Find a seller with good feedback and you should be fine!

The payment method required is dependent on the seller. Most use Paypal because it's easy, but some sellers will accept a cashier's check or money order. Lots of businesses on eBay will also accept credit cards.

Be carful on Ebay. You really want to put your hands on these first. You need to shake these to listen for Rattle, which means alot of wear. I have a set on my Little ZR that rattled and had a Hot spot just above idle. The engine would suck air around the slides and bring NO fuel with it!
