we had a '95 and sold it with 3500 miles..... the only problem we EVER had was putting in new primer pumps every other year. It was the most reliable machine I've ever seen!! If it didn't start, it was your own fault (flooding with the primer) The horsepower is about 40-50 (rough numbers). Ours topped out about 65, maybe around 70 (speedo reading).

yep,.... gas mileage is surprisingly good too.... although, if you beat it hard, it will be a bit of an oil pig.

Honestly, i would say maybe 40-45. Its a 380,, come on. Ski doo's 550 only is like what 55-60??

The 380 is an excellent sled! Ski doo makes awesome fan cooled machines. My friend drove one up near Cadillac Mi, and he said it topped out at 70. Very reliable sled! I hope it works out for ya.
