It probably gets a solid 7 mpg lol but im only getting 13 or 14 now with a v6! not happy about that since i could have a lot more power with the v8 and only lose a couple mpg

haha, thats not a couple mpg, that cuts
your mileage in half buddy.
the v6 could run on 4cylinders and
get better than 7mpg.

gas will go up before it goes down, just think-
when the 460 was new in 1978 gas was 49cents a gallon!!!!!!!
40 gal tank, 20bucks to fill!!!!!!!!!!
my 77doo has a 6gal tank, 3 flippin dollars to fill!!!!
unbelievable isnt it.

I meant i could put the 360 out of our ram in it and get 10 or 11 mpg and have a lot more fun! if the 3.9 ever goes bad the 5.9 is going in there

I do like having the 5.9 in my Durango. It's no worse on fuel than a 5.2 and it has more power down low. They say upper rpm's there's no difference (peak hp is only a 15 hp variance), but the torque difference is pretty significant. A dakota with a 5.9 would be awesome!

Is the 5.9 a direct swap to the 3.9?

I'm yet to start the season. I've been waiting to ride the local trails for 2 years.

I guess there is always next year, I hope.

You guys still alive? lol I've gotten rid of all my sleds except the jag which I hope to have gone soon. Getting enough snow to ride once a winter isn't enough for me to justify keeping them.

I was up in waters for 3 weeks earlier this summer and I could stay up there like that in the winter but all those trails get really crowded.
