Now I don't know what to do. Theres an 06 Sportsman 500efi for $600 cheaper and it comes with a plow/storage box. Only draw back is it has 4000 miles instead of the 750 miles and has a some scratches.

It was a trail bike though, so you're obviously going to rack up more miles. Other bike was a yard queen.

I still think id go for the other one. the low miles will really help resale and if you really want a plow you can get a used setup for like $300 or cheaper

Most snowmobile problems are caused by a loose nut connecting the handlebars to the seat.

We went for the 450! Just got back from buying it. It's not mint, a few scuffs here and there, but I think we did fairly well! He was asking 4300 and we got her home for 3650. Gotta do all the fluids and she should be a good bike!

Very nice man. Looks really clean. When my uncle traded off their old '02 he initially traded it for a '10 Sportsman 400. I asked him why he stayed with the 400 instead of going bigger, and he said he couldn't find anything to use it for that the 400 couldn't do just fine.

Yea, the newer 400's still use the 455cc from this model year's 450 machine. It seems to have plenty enough power to pull anything I can pitch at it. One thing is these machines are HEAVY! Almost felt as heavy pulling as two sleds on the back. Though in this department, weight is a good thing. Heavier duty and more weight for traction in snow/ice.

That's my philosophy when it comes to weight. It'll help when you're clearing trees and pulling stumps and everything. Weight is your friend in those cases.

Yes they are pretty clean, don't really care if I sell any or not, sort of like having atleast 2 sleds just for me and spares to boot, have been looking for a decent edge, very much like the amount of travel they provide and fox clickers too will most likely be selling off my extremly clean XCR800 though.

I remember being at most of those places already!
The first pic is right by the bridge, right?

Base camp is just off the trail about a mile from Lake Emily. If you see some guys going two up on the above posted rig with the driver wearing a black/red Fox MX helmet and the passenger in a black snowmobile helmet- That's Me!!

Quick question though. Can you ride quads on the back roads through the industrial/county/national forest in the central/western half of the county? I see a bunch of'm on the map but not so many trails. Stuff like the "goodman grade" and all those single track type roads in that area?
