clutching is going to be the best bang for the buck you might want to poke around over at dootalk most of the popular clutch kit makers are members there and they can get you set up.

Cheapest thing you can do is clean the clutch faces and wash the belt to remove any oil/ grime/ belt dust. Make sure the air filter is clean to get the most air through the engine. Tune-up, specially the carbs. Lube the drivetrain bearings to reduce friction, make sure all idler wheel bearings are in good shape. Make sure the clutches are in good shape and shifting well.

Clutching would be the most important, but making sure your RAV valves are cleaned and opening up at the proper time will help with the mid range.

Have you tried rockets? Yeah I know, sound crazy but I have two on my alpine and it does wheelies or at least trackies. Just kidding its still slow. Clutches are where its at. You could also gear it a little lower.

Drop a tooth off the top gear! This will let it pull harder off the line! Then Studding, I would do atleast 240 in a double tap patern!
