Even as much as 150, although 135/140 is more likely.

At this point, as long as it starts easily, leave it until you can test it after some run time.

It starts and runs fine as you can see in the video-very smooth. I haven't had much experience with 500s so I won't be able to tell if it's running well in terms of power.

I say it's not an issue then.

I've found a seat heater for it but the problem is the power it draws. It takes 1.5 amps, 20 watts. Only $40 though! Here is the link:
Moose Internal Seat Heater~Snowmobile, ATV,UTV:eBay Motors (item 330372637242 end time Nov-28-09 10:54:59 PST)
Will the snowmobile be able to run this without killing the battery? Also you have to remove the seat cover to put it in. How hard is it to do that?

That one goes over the seat, I think.

No it goes under. You have to take off the seat cover which is the other problem. It would be weird if it went over lol. Does it draw too much power?

OOps! misread that!
No, your sled can power that OK.
You have to remove the console and then the two bolts at the rear of the seat to lift it off, then you can unstaple the cover.

What do you mean the console? Where would I wire it to, the battery or the alternator?

The console covers the front of the seat and contains the key switch and such.
You would wire it in just after the key or plug into an accessory plug up near the tach.
