Polaris Xtra 10 help

Hello Again,
I have a 96 Polaris indy trail, and i seem to be having a few problems with my suspension setup.
first off:
-The upper end of the rear shock seems to be hitting on the upper mounting bracket, causing the entire shock to bend slightly. I can also see a groove from where the old shock appeared to be doing the same thing. Also, my track seems to be running to one side no matter how much i adjust the back axle

-I tightened the front limiter straps a bit, and this seemed to relieve some, but not all of stress on the shock

- I am not sure exactly how to properly synchronize both limiter straps, they are the wingnut adjustable type, and was told that they stretch at different rates, and measuring the distance from the nut to the end of the threads was not effective,

- Also, what are the proper torque specs for the bolts that mount the suspension to the tunnel. I cannot find them anywhere in the repair manual.

-Any tips for setting up this suspension. I have an adjustable front shock, the stock one was non adjustable, I am about 250 dressed and plan on using it mostly in the ditches and on the trails

Thanks a lot

To align the track, tighten the side that needs to move. If it is running to the right, you have to tighten the right side to make it go left.

Ok, i tried adjusting the limiter staps, front and back, as well as adjusting the preload on the front shock. I've tried just about everthing, i've got the frss on it's highest setting and the rear shock is still hitting on the mounting bracket tube. How far do u thread the nuts on the limiter straps (front and back)? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. BTW-I've removed the suspension this afternoon
