Smile what's Better?

I'm looking at two sleds this week. One is a 2000 yamaha phazer, and the other is a 1997 yamaha xtx 600. both have low miles. Which one is overall better and faster? Just wondering.
Thanks, Andrew

I know I have Phazer and I like it so far. I haven't been able to drive it yet but hopefully I will like it. Sorry I can't help much. BUT I would prefer the 2000 (not only because that's the year I have) but because it was the 3rd year of that model so it should be reliable. 1997 was one of or the first year they made that style. The Phazer is a 500 (I think) and the xtc is a 600 so it would be faster. On the other hand, you could pick the Phazer and bore out the cylinders or something to make it like a 600. The big thing for me would be the reliability which is what I chose. There are always ways to make it faster. Also the Phazer books for $1640 and the xtc books for $1500. Go for the newer, more reliable sled.
