According to the Old Farmer's Almanac, this year is suppossed to be well above average in terms of snowfall and below average in terms of temperatures. It could possibly and rival the 2002-2003 winter season, one of the snowiest on record.

Who doesn't? The almanac predicted a ton of snowfall here in January and February, but below average precipitation. That ended the season last year. We were dry all of march. The snow survived march, but that left nothing for april.
And twins, who doesn't remember 02-03? I remember waking up to a 3' snowfall!

We broke a record in SE Wyoming for October snowfall. Two snowstorms totaling around 30". I haven't seen early monster storms like this since the late 70's.
