Wondering if it's just my area or where I'm looking...I'm in the market for a used touring sled the Vermont,Mass, New York state region. Looking to spend approx $2500. Been checking mostly on Craigslist and some nearby dealers. But everything out there seems overpriced if the NADA or KBB numbers are to be believed. Private party ads often run as high as the high dealer retail on NADA. And much higher than Kelly Blue Book (kbb tends to be generally lower pricing). And I've found anything near a bargain price is all junk.
Are these sites any use determining a sleds value? Should I expect to pay a dealer retail price to a private party seller?

Go a bit wider in your search! Maybe even look in the Mi or Wi or Min areas!
