Fuel Guage install

Ok so i was at my local autozone looking at boost gauges for a car, then i saw a fuel gauge mechanical not electronic and i wanted to know if it possible to install it on my sled, I know sled gas tanks are pretty big but it would suck if i ran out :/ so i just wanted to ask you guys first before i go looking around on the web and getting confused, i know the simple bopper ones the screw on would work just fine but i cant find those and a gauge would look a lot neater too. Also bringing back the tach gauge question just to clarify i cant add my own tach right?

Any Input would be appreciated ...

You can add an electric tach, you just have to have the right phased one.

I suspect that a 2 phase will work for your application.
