blue dot tail lights

does anyone know if blue dot taillight inserts are legal in mn, regulations just say red has to be visable 500 ft.

No, but being how much more I can see a motorcycle with them... I've thought about the same idea...

I doubt you would get bothered because of it!

I would assume as long as the rest of the taillight is red, the small blue dot shouldn't be a hinderance.

my dad says i can only get them if they are legal, so Rhelray they are not legal?

I cannot find anything that says it is illegal; however, on a street legal vehicle, you cannot have blue lights, or any other color other than red, amber, or white. Even emergency vehicles can only technically have blue on the passenger side....

I wouldn't touch someone for having a blue dot on their bike or sled... and I really don't think you would have any issues anyways. 95% of the light is still red.

blue dots

Ive got em! not on my sled though. theyre on the taillights of my 69 chev c10. never thought about puttting them on the xcr, but now that you say something....
