most common problem is the throttle safety switch. (right next to the kill switch.)

Try what KcKats suggested, that will eliminate any of the switches as the problem.
There was even a problem with some of the key switches too.

had the same thing on mine. You might check the stators ohm readings. If one of the wires are down same thing will happen. I replaced my stator but its expensive and the last part you want to do first.

If you go through my post history you will read alot about the panther and the things that i experienced fixxing it.

The magito and Stator are the same part if you want the ohm's readings for it i can get you those. Bringing it to a shop will only take you time and $ and they will do the same ohm's test. It's really easy. If you get the correct resistances than it works if not you need a new one. all or nothing deal. It will run you about $125 for a good used one 175 for a rebuilt.

One of the main problems i have with a sleds engine firing, whether it's a Polaris Or Arctic cat is bad grounds...Get contact cleaner, a small wire brush amd some emory cloth and start buffing amd cleaning....Just cuz it looks clean doesn't mean a sheen hasn"t covered it...
