The Faster Sled

Which sled is faster a 97 polaris xlt 600 indy special or a 96 yamaha v-max 600?

I would think the xlt, v-max's are tanks.

I've had the both of them and the polaris was quicker.

I just bought bothe of these sleds and we had to move them around a bit the other day. I must say the Polaris was much more of a beast to move around.

IN stock trim the Polaris, But Yami always leaves alot of performance untapped! Couple of simple thing will really help it out. Drop the top gear a tooth, port the transferes, and open up the exhaust pipe will let that Yami run!

xlt. those trips have some extra power.

Lol (it was worth a shot.) Someone going towards morrisville from hardwick VT (next town over) is selling a 2000+ (not sure what year) MX Z rev for 1500 in great condition. It runs and everything but they're getting rid of all their toys. I'd kill to have the money for that sled lol.

polars is faster stock but a few things and a yami will fly
