Question What should i do first...

This spring and fall I'm gonna fix up my Arctic Cat Bearcat 340. I'm just wondering what you guys think I should do first. This is my first time ever fixing up a sled over a long period of time, so it's different to me. Here's a list of what I need to do:

Fix the seat
Fix the skis
Fix the belly pan
Clean the engine
Fix the hood
Fix the chassis
Fix the track
Fix the windshield
Fix the engine
Fix the steering

Which one should I do first? Once all the snow melts I'm gonna set up a carport in my yard so the sled doesn't get rained on and I'm gonna fix it up in the spring, leave it there over the summer, and fix it up in the fall. I'm working all summer, so I won't be able to get to it then.

Start with the most expensive and most important part: the engine. If you find big problems, you can stop there without having wasted a lot of money on the cosmetic stuff.

If all is good, then concentrate on the mechanical problems. After all is in goodworking order then work on the cosmetic stuff.

I'd rather ride a crappy lookind sled than have a good looking sled sit there all winter because it won't run.

If you are just starting out wrenchin' and the sled is in good shape then by all means, start with the easy cosmetic work and next year, work up to the harder stuff.

and the engine works perfectly. i rode it all year, then bought a new sled this sunday, so i'm gonna work on the old one as a project! i'll look at the suspension. when i was riding it seemed like it needed to be updated a little haha. does anyone know where i might be able to get skis and a sea for it?
