The only deep snow we have here is in farmers fields. Its not even that deep. If you go ski-doo get a rev or rev xp chassis. The old zx (some 03's and down) are to rough for our bumpy trails here and will give you a soar back in no time!

i lucked out though. Where I live, I'm in the middle of the prairie. Everything's flat. There are no tree's anywhere except for in people's yard. But 5-6 miles down the gravel road north of me, there's a valley. And it gets really deep snow. And our family always goes there, everyone except me because i don't have a sled.

True they may not be as comfortable as a rev in most people's opinions but I own a ZX and with proper suspension setup they ride quite well. I have put in some 225mile+ days on not so smooth trails and found myself to feel just peachy! They are a great handling and riding sled when done properly. I actually prefer it to my friends rev's. Its all personal preference. The only big downfall is the standing position is not as comfortable but that could be helped a lot with a handlebar riser.

I agree. I loved mine but for the really bumpy trails we have it was just to uncomfortable. I never took the time to set up the suspension though. After driving a rev for 100km's i got used to it and now i love it. If you are quite tall the zx chassis sleds are not as good as the revs because it can be hard to stand up on the zx as the seat is quite close to where your feet are. The nice thing is on the zx is that you can stretch out and sit on the rear of the seat and stretch your legs.
