oxy feul switch under the hood

oxy feul switch under the hood
i have a 1997 Yamaha 600 mountain max with smart carbs and there is a switch under the hood by the arr box that has 2 settings oxy fuel and normal. does anyone know what it does or what it is for. Thanks in advance.

I believe it's regarding running the oxygenated fuel vs. regular unleaded...
