arctic cat carb help

i have a 91 440 jag single carb. i want to take it apart and clean it. can anyone give me a link to the breakdown or pics of the carb apart. i dont know what to look for this is my first sled. thanks

thanks guys, i took apart for the third time and now it runs good mid thru wide open, but now i cant get it to idle very good it just wants to stall. i tried turning the screws but nothing seems to happen any ideals? i believe this carb is tha orig from 91 so the settings are factory. single carb machine,also what size or part no are my skis?

The pilot jet is still clogged.
Run a fine wire through it to clear the jet orifice.

I am sure RJ is correct but just wanted to say I had the same problem the first time I did a carb cleaning.

Turned out that I had the Slide still adjusted wrong, I would also check that as well since you can do that without tearing the whole carb apart.

I found that having the slide just off a little bit would really make a difference in both the idle, initial bog and high end bogging. Only mention this cause it is an easy area for a first timer to miss when putting everything back together.

Also check the Choke plunger assembly and make sure it is clean and adjusted properly, could be choking itself at low rpm's

ok, done everything u guys said cleaned it again. now before i put it back together where on the needle should that clip be? its in the first slot now should i leave it there? ive read other guys talking about how they adjusted theirs do i?

First notch, as in highest, is the leanest (the highest allows the needle to sit lowest). I would start in the middle notch, or at least number 2 from the top to keep from having a lean condition that could burn the engine up in the midrange...

Check your plugs a few times to make sure you are not too lean...
