I seen something like this on an F5 and an F7 before. I think it was some dude from Indian River, not quite sure

It's the stock pipe and the can is a MBRP. No wories tho, the can will never make it to Michigan. Had to have the Y-pipe welded because it's a Doo 800 (they all crack). Had them add the gusset to stop that from happening again.
Waiting on Motot Tassanari to get my carb boots to me so I can do a leakdown test of the engine and put these on. Hope they look as good as what I seen on those Cats

Are you go to Autorama this year? My Uncle's 10 second street legal '86 Grand National is in that show this year. Check it out. Great show by the way.

Thanks IRS, you're too kind. Would be kinda cool tho. Might consider something like that for next year. Still have a few things to do on it for now

Got the Y-pipe fixed for $35 and then the coating was $140, not bad considering I will never have to mess with sandblasting and spray bombs again. Outside of the cosmetic part of it, I'm going to still use the heat sheilds with the pipe. Ceramic is supposed to help keep heat in the pipe and the by using the insulated shields I'm hoping to keep it there. Lower head temps and keeping heat in the expansion chamber = performance if Iv'e studied right. Next year is cylinder porting and a Cudney head to work on the flow part.
