just bought a 700 fusion, wondering if there is anything to worry about and what can i expect for performance

They were known for breaking motor mounts and blowing belts, especially if they were heavily studded, but as long as you dont mind some vibration they are nice sleds.
Performance is pretty decent for a 700. That sled should easily be able to get you into the 105-110 mph range.

that's the 900 with the crank problems not the 700,

but i do understand that the 700 had problems with the chaincase cover, along with the clutches not being balanced very well, from what i've read their are some people who have had problems with them and some people who don't i'm guessing that it all depends on how well you take care of it
