I could use some ideas - I have 1997 Arctic Cat ZR580 EFI and it has a battery for the fuel pump. This year when I prepared for winter and started the sled - no problem -- but it would not turn off when I used the key nor when I used the button on the handle bar. When I hook up the battery, the fuel pump begins immediately - when it should only begin when I turn on the key??

Any ideas?

I would look from the stator to the wiring harness for a wire that is unplugged. It sounds like you are open, and you need to be to ground to kill the engine...
