Removing bogie wheels

I picked up another suspension to replace my banged up one.

I need to swap some bogie wheels between the suspensions. I have a couple bogie wheels that are stuck on the shaft. I've soaked in penetrating fluid for a couple hours and they won't budge. Is it okay to use heat? It won't hurt the bearings?

Working on a tight budget for the moment...

Soaked over night, can't get them to budge. Broke a mallet trying to pound them off.

Is it okay to get some heat into them?

Heat them, or cut them off.

I used a rubber mallot on my yamaha when i restored the suspension. If you break the bearing they are fairly cheap, as far as snowmobiles go, to replace. I had to use a hammer on all of mine. If its possible to take the wheel off the bearing first so you don't break it is best. I broke 1 of the 8 i took off with a hammer.
