I went to start my sleds recently and noticed my keys were not in them inside my trailer. To make a long story short, they were left in the dresser drawer at the hotel we stayed at last march. they are long gone! I have a 2000 Ski-doo 440 Mxz & a 2002 Polaris Edge 700. I figured I'd ask you guys first; can I get these keys from Polaris and ski-doo? I would think it would be like Bob-cats & back-hoes., only a few different copies. How should I go about this!!?
Just call up the dealer and tell them the situation, they'll want some ID of the sled, vin ect, than they'll get some copies made and sell them too ya. Shouldnt cost too much I think.

I think they are all keyed pretty much the same. Bring the VIN and proof of ownership to a dealer, they can help you though.

doesnt the 440 have a tether key? the only way to get a new one is to bring your sled to the dealer. they have to hook the sled to a computer and reprogram it for a new tether.
I agree with skidoorider. If it has a tether they will have to reprogram your mpem to the new key your looking at the cost of the key plus an hour labor
