Question snow snow snow

Am i the only one who is bugging out about the fact that i cant wait for snow lol i just bought my first sled last week and let me tell you winter is on its way but it seems to be taking its time and i dont like that!!!!!!! lol must be just all the hype from buyin my first sled because everyone else is like yeah winter greaat lol but anyways quick question, now i wear glasses and i want to get a mx helmet instead of a full face because not only do they look better but they look lighter/ less bulky but everyone i ask is telling me dont its a bad idea you'll freeze to death and get frost bite on any exposed part of your face. well whats your guys opinions and like i said i wear glasses so would that and having to wear goggles even work/fit right? thanks for the advice

Nice looking sled!

You may want to look at contact lenses. I used to wear glasses and tried open face with flip down visor (a long time ago), full face with breath deflector and MX helmet with goggles. The major problem I had was with glasses fogging up. Tried anti-fog stuff with some success but really love the contacts. With the full face and MX, always had a hard time putting the glasses on after the helmet with ears getting in the way. Almost impossible in reverse order.

Full face - better for colder days and touring due to better seal, MX = better for active warmer days, ditch banging and such. Watch the gap between helmet and goggles or wear a balaclava (ski mask) on colder days. You can always slow down a little to warm up as this reduces the wind-chill effect.

I currently wear a full face helmet with double pane visor (not heated, don't like them). I routinely open the visor when stopping or slow going to prevent fogging up. Don't wash with anything but very mild soap and water as some products frost up in the cold.
