Will winter ever end

I was just getting ready to put up my skidoo for the winter after this weekend, all the snow was getting hard and some was already melted. But over these last few days we have gotton about 5 or 6 inches of fresh snow. So i guess we got atleast another few days of good riding. Today I raced my 600 against one of those brand new dragon 600 short-tracks and i could keep up with him. I was pretty pleased. Our town also had the snowmobile track race a couple weeks ago so ill try to post some pics from that soon.

Cool pics! I don't know if I'd like to live THAT far north or not. The almost perpetual night would get to me...

Yeah it is kinda bleak somtimes especially whne it snowing but when it is clear out it is one of the most beautiful places in the world, especially when in falltime around the end of august. The darkness isn't nearly as hard to deal with as the daylight. It is very hard to sleep and get tired when it is 24 hour sun. Most of all the new snow is melted and it is getting muddy again.

Parked

Well yesterday the sun came out and it got around +10 and took any chances of riding again away. On monday i played in some water and had a bit of fun with that but theres just nothing like riding in powder though. My dad almost sunk it the other day but good thing it wasnt under long enough to get water in the engine. He said the water level was above his knee. But nothing seems to be wrecked up with it. Now for the longest 3 months of my life.
