Lets see, fix the bumper that I busted up this year . Fix the pull cord cover, new track, maybe a seat cover and some minor body clean ups (re-painting skis and tunnel). Oh yeah, gotta get the girlfriend her own sled, don't like spending 200 bucks a day to rent her one when we go north.

Getting shocks rebuilt/revalved, Cudney head and maybe new pilot 6.9 ski's. With this added to the mods from last year, this sled should kick ass! BTW, nice rides there snow4!

Prolly pull the skids on both of mine.......Jr's will need major o'haul including shock rebuilds, powder coating, idlers, etc. Mine shouldn't need too much, since I did major work last summer, but at least I will disassemble all the bushings & give them a good grease job. Both sleds are ready for a full compliment of track clips, as well!! That won't be cheap!!

BTW - Sharp whips you have there, Snow4!!

Let's see... New brake lever, skid plate, slides, handlebar hooks, skis, gas tank (damn filler neck) and a good cleaning. Clean the clutches, new fuel and filter lines... Etc.

I need to chang my chaincase seal. It finnaly warmed up around here and my suspension got all the ice off and come to find out my rear shock is dead as a doornail. So i need to do some suspension work on it too. I would love to get a 1 inch hacksaw with 96 studs and some twin pipes but my babys starting to get old and i have no money to sink into my sled. I might go leave for college in florida so i wont get to ride it except for christmas anyway. O well.

Nice rides there Snow 4!
I have the stroker motor apart and gona send the crank in to be phased and straightened and welded, then ballanced! I'll put it all back together and then send it off to Main to get run on the Dyno to get the pipes right and carberation!
The rest of the sled is pretty much OK I just went threw it after the MI ride.
The Big Cat has the suspension still out of it after Will Launched it on the MI ride so I'm thinking bout putting the slick I have for it on and giving the Asphalt a run this summer!

Hey, Thanks Everyone.. like all of you , we have pride in our sleds, but sometimes I do wonder if all the polishing is really worth it because after one ride, all the shine is gone..lol
Seems like there will be a few of us busy this summer, some more than others but one thing I do know especially in our case. We are borderline ill with the passion for this sport and think about it year round.

Mine is getting a new track, new shocks in the back, maybe the front too, new orange slides, bar riser, orange handlebar cover, new paint and custom graphics on the hood, black windsheild. Maybe powder coat front and rear suspension parts.

Snow4, I like the track dolly under your sled.

speaking of that, whats the best way of determining if the shocks need to be rebuilt? my mxz x has 3200 miles and they have not been rebuilt yet.
