step 1 of the summer projects

Heres a pic of the shed I'm building this weekend. Than i can start the fun stuff taking Pams sled apart and repainting it and fixing a few things. We started with a level and flat platform this morning and got almost all the framing complete. Pam was right there beside me all day helping out she is so great. Just missing 2 rafters and the wall stabilizers on top and we'll be siding it and roofing by noon.

Here's at the end of Day 2. Did i say i was going to be shingling by noon today? We spent the entire day finishing the last two roof trusses putting the siding and window in and finishing all the trim work prior to the roof shingles. I think i slightly under estimated the amount of work and the amount of time it took to get the details right. One point for me towards next years Locky Award

A 2" Camoplast track, flex skis and new (used) chassis for the 96 Summit, Finish up the 95 Summit as motor is leaking oil somewhere and hook up coolant lines, new bushing in Mach 1 sencondary, new track, seat cover and bearings for Safari and maybe a quick paint job. And whatever else I come across. All this is going to be done on my Sept./Oct. 28 days off as my Harley is fixing to get a work out the next 2 sets of days off

Wow!, that looks sweet! Haven't had a chance in a month to play on mine. Too busy working on the house...siding, trim although i started priming this last weekend, so there is a light at the end of the tunnel.
