Well...It has begun.. Skid's are out and undergoing a good look over and grease/paint ect... Did some internet trading on wheels. Traded my yellow for silver and my husband traded his yellow for black. So at this point, both sleds are skidless...lol

Snow4 ( Think Snow) haha

Found out my bosses husband has taken up airbrushing. He's one of those guys that everything he tries is golden! Wanted to do a sled hood for "advertising". Here's a progress pic of the zrt hood, no clearcoat yet and some more colour to add but i was blown away...

dh700,
Thanks, actually I didn't mind the yellow ones but think I will prefer the silver ones. I have a enough yellow ones from other sleds to go back if I prefer the yellow but seeing them on the skid, I think I'm going to like the silver.

Your green ones will look awesome on your sabercat!

Adbaker,
Those hoods are amazing ! Look really really nice.

Alrighty then... Update

Skids are painted and polished and hung on the wall ( for now ) Lot's of elbow grease and time into the skids with the wipe on wipe off thing..LOL I think my husband got more than one cramp doing these..

Next it's onto the tunnels...

long way to go with them, front ends will be tore down with new bushings ect, not to mention the usual maintenance.

With the gas prices the way they are, I don't see any new sleds in our immediate future so we have to take care of what we have.

I hope if you have started your projects, things are going good.

a few pics of the skids, one on the wall..( something not right about that ehh?)

Well now that all the snowblower is put away and all the patio furniture and the barbeque is all cleaned up for the warm weather I started into the sled yesterday. I will be looking at doing the 144" conversion, new shocks, bearings all around the 04 brakelight conversion and what ever else I find while tearing the old REV apart. Looks like it could be a pretty exspensive off season. All this to do plus finishing my basement which I haven't even started yet. Also looking at getting the wife an 04 XC SP 500.

My current list for my Gade is the following:
-Strip decals (I am thinking of leaving it all back this year)
-New shocks:
Fox Floats up front
Fox Zero Pro's in the skid
-New Skis, SlyDog Trail's
-A Powermadd 3" Pivot Riser

Other than that I will just clean anything that needs cleaning. It should all come together around the end of August or beginning of September.

Home depot just called and they are 15min away they are dropping off the wood for my 12x16 shed Now i have a place to hide and work on things in relative comfort. I'll have picks as i build it this weekend. I don't know what I'm more excited about the shed or working on Pam's sled. I'll be going to Il to pick up a parts sled from DennisMC once the sheds done.
