This may be a stupid question but seeing that im unsure im going to ask anyways....i have a 2006 500xcsp and i can switch to run premium gas which is 91 octane or more or regular which is 87 octane or higher.Is it foolish to run a medium grade fuel 89 octane or just spend the little bit more and run premium?

Save the money and run the 87. Unless you're a racer, use the cheap stuff.

Some of the XC's have a position on the ignition to run regular or premium gas. Make sure that if you're running premium, you have that switch. If you don't, you're just wasting your money.
