ahh give the poor kid a break he obviously is interested in sleds some kids are just trying to fit in you know. Take him aside call him out on his lie then talk to him about sleds.

Spoken as most of us should have answered that are old enough to hand out true good advice. Thanks for the slap i needed Jag boy this is probably the best advice any of can give try it and tell us how it comes out. You might find that you just made a new friend with someone who really wants to be involved in sledding and a great sledding partner.

yeah it is a good idea and i could be friends with him... but no riding buddies i ride solo because i dont want to have to stop ever 200 yards or play catchup with inconsistant throttle lovers :P lol plus if any one would get hurt it would be my responsiblity since hes only 10

Well, since he is only ten, he would have to be riding with someone that is over 16 at the very least, or only with a parent.

It would not hurt to try to get him and his family involved in the sport.
Maybe a project sled that he could build himself.
