2 stroke / 4 stroke

I've been on the web sites of the major manufactures and it is not easy to find out what stroke their engines are. Question, is Ski Doo all 4 stroke or do they make 2 strokes as well? Also, does Yamaha make a 2 stroke, polaris?

Thanks

Yamaha is all 4 stroke I believe. Not sure of skidoo or polaris? Cat makes both.

Polaris and Ski-doo have 4 strokes.
The Ski-doos are work sled.

Both Ski-Doo and Polaris make both. Polaris models that are 4 stroke start with FS, there's only a couple. Ski-doo's 4 strokes are Legend, Expedition, and Skandic. Yamaha only makes 4's.

Thanks for the input. I thought Yamaha was all 4 stroke. the Ski doo site is so fancy with all of the Flash that it is really hard to just get to the bottom of it all. Also, when you go to the page that says, "specs," they don't say 2 or 4 (that I can see) the word is that 4 strokes are hard to start in -30 or colder weather - the reason my my asking.

At -30 (F) anything would be hard to start! Most all the 4 strokes use a dry sump for the oil which means the crank shaft isn't in oil, this makes it easier to start at real low temps. I do believe all the 4 strokes have electric start!
