Fleet Farm has interceptor on sale for $26 a gallon. I may pick up a case or 5. I am wondering if anything needs to be done to change oils? I am currently running AC APV at $48 a gallon form the dealer Can i just add the Amsoil to the resivoir? of so i have to do something special?

As long as you're going synthetic to synthetic, you should be all set.

i know that...but with all the do's and don't, it's better to ask a question than to %#$@ something up. I've learned a ton in the past few months from people on this forum, but sometimes it makes you think too much.

There could have been some sort of quirk when switching oils mid flow that caused the powervalves to be stuck open, and only a magic oil fairy selling a "how to mix synthetic oil book" for $19.95 could solve the problem...
