good place to buy track clips?

Looked into getting some track clips at my local dealer and didn't like the price they gave me ($225). They gave me a price on some aftermarket clips, but it was still up around $160. I have seen some people have gotten them cheaper through the internet and wondering if anyone has a site they can give me. I have a 2003 firecat with a sno-pro track. It is clipped every window and takes something like 34 guide clips and 68 wear clips. The track itself is in good condition and I don't really want to replace it. Thanks for any help.

Camoplast light weight clips. They hold moisture for lubrication. best clips made IMO.

Does anyone know if there are special tools for deeper lug tracks? Most of the tools work from the lug side of the track and are only good for up to 1" and I have 1-3/8". I did notice that they have a set of track clip pliers at the botton of the Bigh Performance Engineering site, but @ $176 I don't think I will be buying those anytime soon.

i would either check on ebay or denniskirk.com. that is where i got mine. i dont think that it matters on the size of the lugs, but your gonna need a track clip tool. you can probably find one used on ebay, or buy one new from a supplier. i got mine from denniskirk, and it was about 60 or 70 dollars. make sure that its worth it with the track though. i did mine, and the track tore within a month. then, i got a new kimpex shotgun, predrilled for studs for $275 shipped, and i am much happier with this track anyway. let us know.

another piece of advice, the track tool that i bought retained its value really well, and i think that i resold it for $55 on ebay. pretty easy item to sell, especially this time of year.

I used the tool #725-022. It does both 1" and 1 1/2". $80.00. Like mentioned tho, you may do better on the tool on e-bay

I have the tool from HPE and it works very well, time consuming though, but still quicker than replacing the track! I have done several replacements of clips and add to a 1/3 clipped track (had to cut out the windows for the new drivers), but have never reclipped an entire track?

I borrowed a Sno-Stuff tool from an HCS guy. It comes in a yellow plastic box with 2 different dies.....1 for 1" wide clips & 1 for 1-1/2" wide clips. It had no problem fitting on my SnoPro track. I think they cost about $80. I think you can also use an impact wrench to speed the job along. If you're buying, steer clear of the pliers type tool!!

I'm trying to work out some deals trading my boondocker box for a 1-3/8 track with little or no use. After looking my track over and thinking about how many miles it has on it (6000+), I might just be further ahead getting a new track and I won't have to worry about it for another 5 years. I will also sell the boondocker outright for $325 shipped. I bought it brand new spring of 2007 and never installed. Still new in box. Have some pics if anyone is interested.
